I have used this handout with folks in early recovery from substance use disorder, in mixed DX groups, in mens groups and in mixed genders groups. Although I prefer process oriented groups sometimes people just don’t want to talk and if I don’t want to use any of the other props or prompts in my Weavers Way bag then I put out a handout … like the one below. Sometimes I have them write on the back how others see them both positive and negative.
